Football Career

Pablo Gavi was born to parents who loved sports in Sevilla, Spain. He grew up in Los Palacios y Villafranca, a place of about 40,000 people where other soccer players like Jesus Navas and Fabian Ruiz also grew up.
When he was 8, he started playing as a beginner at the Real Betis Academy. Gavi was amazing for Betis.

Gavi joined Barcelona in 2015 when he was 11 years old. February 2021, Gavi made his professional debut with Barcelona B. He only played two games in his first six months with Barca B. His first game was a 6-1 victory against Hospitalet, while his second was a 2-1 loss against Espanyol.

International Career

Gavi’s Spanish national team player career began when he was just 15. On July 30th, manager Luis Enrique called him to the senior Spain national team.

On October 6th, he became the youngest player in Spain’s history to make his senior team debut in a 1-0 win against Italy in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals.

On October 10th, during the final match versus France, Spain lost by a score of 2-1. He made history on June 5th, 2022, when he scored his first goal for Spain’s senior team at 15 in a Nations League match against the Czech Republic.

Gavi was a member of Spain’s 2022 FIFA World Cup team and started all four games he played. He scored Spain’s first World Cup goal in their opening game against Costa Rica, making him the third-youngest player ever to do so (after only Pelé and Manuel Rosas).
